Maeve Croghan
Maeve Croghan has had a life long deep connection with nature. She grew up spending her summers on Mackinac Island in northern Michigan, living very close to the lakes and forests. Maeve has chosen Nature, in her many different forms, to be the subject her paintings. Her “Nature Portraits” are a unique interpretation of the landscape genre.
Maeve is a recipient of numerous prestigious juried awards and her paintings are exhibited and collected throughout the country. Museum exhibitions include, the Anchorage Museum of History and Art, the Laguna Beach Museum of Art, the Coos Bay Art Museum and the Farmington Museum of Farmington, New Mexico, the Los Gatos Art Museum, of Los Gatos, Ca.
Recently, Maeve’s work was invited for a showing at the Matsumoto Museum in Matsumoto, Japan and the Salt Road Museum in Omachi, Japan. She was personally invited to Japan as an honored ‘Artist Guest’.
Other honors include having her art in the prestigious Manoogian Collection of American Art . Additionally, her paintings have been chosen by Castoro Cellars (Templeton, CA) to grace their award-winning wine bottle labels.
